The tailor's Clapper works to absorb the steam so it traps the heat inside the fabric, instead of it escaping into the air. This results in flat, crisp seams, pleats, and creases while sewing. It is not only for quilt seams, but tucks, collars, cuffs and hems as well.
The tailor Clapper is made from hardwood and is rounded on both ends and designed with side grooves for a comfortable grip. It weighs 9 oz and is almost 8" Long, 3" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
