Also, by adjusting the stitch length on your machine, you can have a long stitch or short, satin stitch.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e  \u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003eYou can zigzag over cord, too!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003e  It still takes a bit of practice because the attachment is moving the fabric back and forth as opposed to the needle moving back and forth on new machines, today.  But, once you get the knack for how it operates you will learn how to use your fingers to guide the fabric in slowly and methodically for straight lines.\u003cbr\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003eSmall and compact it is easily stored in your Featherweight Sewing Machine Case and quickly attached with your thumb screw. \u003c\/span\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003eAt a local Christmas Bazaar I demonstrated the easy use of this attachment for even a simple task of finishing seams.  You will notice in one of the photographs above I finished the seams on a corduroy skirt for my daughter while at that Bazaar - no\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003e more seams to unravel and fray.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003eYou will also notice a cupcake applique - that, too, was completed using the Adjustable Zigzagger Attachment on my Featherweight 222.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: larger;\"\u003e  I have found that the Attachment ZigZaggers are best suited for light applique' work - and are easiest to maneuver\/guide for short, satin-type stitching.
